Secure your organization’s operations
Very few companies or organizations today can function smoothly if their information systems are unavailable. That’s why it’s important to think about cybersecurity before the lack of it causes problems.
Cybersecurity is a very broad area, and therefore it is essential to know how to allocate time and financial resources wisely. The Cybersecurity Centre’s Cybermeter is a tool designed to create a situational overview and to develop cybersecurity, and Codeo can help you make use of it. We always tailor the approach to the client’s unique situation and needs.

Cybermeter
- With the Cybermeter tool, a systematic and comprehensive review is carried out across different areas of cybersecurity, including protected assets, risks, threat detection, incident response, business continuity, and more.
- The result is an analysis of the current state of cybersecurity, broken down by area and by objectives.
- The review also reveals development areas and paths forward.
- The Cybermeter is based on the international NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2). The Cybersecurity Centre has customized the tool to meet the needs of companies and organizations operating in Finland.
- Security standards require that the level and progress of cybersecurity be measured. If you are pursuing such a goal, the Cybermeter can help with that as well – regardless of the framework you use.
- You can read more about the tool on the Cybersecurity Centre’s website.
How we can help
A cybersecurity assessment carried out with the Cybermeter is a process in which we assist our clients. Typically, it includes the following steps:
- Defining objectives, scope, and operating methods
- A Codeo expert gathers information from the organization’s documentation and personnel
- The Codeo expert enters the information into the Cybermeter tool and helps create the necessary documentation
- The analysis results and development recommendations are reviewed together with the client
During the process, the client becomes familiar with the Cybermeter. The aim is that the client will in the future be able to easily make use of the tool independently and develop their operations with its help. In this way, the client organization can adopt the operating model recommended by the Cybersecurity Centre.
The NIS2 Directive Accelerates Cybersecurity Development
The European Union has adopted the Cybersecurity Directive (NIS2), which aims to improve organizations’ cybersecurity. NIS2 sets cybersecurity-related requirements for companies in various sectors whose uninterrupted operation is critical to other businesses, citizens, or society as a whole. The Cybersecurity Act, which entered into force in 2025, implements the NIS2 Directive in Finland.
If you wish, we can also assess whether your organization falls within the scope of the directive and how the Cybermeter can help in meeting its requirements.
